It's the feeling of not knowing that really kills you
Day after day. It seems like it is never going to end and in some strange and twisted way, you wont let it.
Whether you realize it or not, there are two reasons why you cant just let go.
The first reason is simple:
Its is better to be feeling something about that person (even if it is killing you), than to not feel anything.
The second reason is not quite so easy on the senses:
You won't let go of that person in your heart for the fear that if he or she miraculously wants you back, you will no longer be bothered about it. The irony here is that you will be over the pain so it won't matter.
The whole thing is like a catch 22, just when you think you have gotten your heart and mind in order, the twisted logic behind heartbreak it puts you straight back to square one. For anyone who has ever listened to ' I've got you under my skin ' by Frank Sinatra, you will know exactly how it works.
If you could just allow yourself to move on, even for one minute. Then maybe you might just find a way out of this crazy endless maze called love.
A broken heart can and sometimes does, last a lifetime. Don't let it be your lifetime. Time is precious and you owe it to yourself to move on.
